I sourced this early 2000s Jean Paul Gaultier Maille top because the mix of sheer mesh and ribbed wool feels so modern again. Made in Italy by Fuzzi, it blends Gaultier’s signature stretch mesh with sculptural ribbing at the collar and armholes. The high neckline gives it a sharp edge while the semi sheer body makes it an easy styling piece for nights out or layered under a jacket.

It is one of those collectible Y2K era tops that captures why Gaultier was so good at mixing textures and pushing simple silhouettes forward.
